Land Development
Description:
IEA has executed several land development initiatives to improve the use and
productivity of land for agriculture, housing, infrastructure, and irrigation. These projects involve feasibility studies, land planning, topographical surveys,
engineering design, and supervision across diverse terrains and communities.
- 2020–2025: Land development works in support of the Agricultural
Infrastructure and Value Chain Development Project (AIVDP) – Includes
site planning, irrigation access, drainage layouts, and leveling for
agro-processing facilities and farms. - 2018: Development and rehabilitation of irrigation perimeters for UNVDA
farmlands in Babungo and Bamunka. - 2015: Implementation of large-scale irrigable perimeters under MINADER,
involving soil study, land leveling, and water channeling systems. - 2013: Design of irrigation schemes and land-use improvement plans in
selected production basins in the North West Region under GP-DERUDEP. - 2011–2013: Land development studies for potable Scanwater schemes and
water catchments across multiple regions (MINEE) - 2006–2007: Design of road corridors, village layouts, and land reclamation
strategies in Sabes-Kendem and the Manyu valley for rural and agricultural
enhancement
